Athlete Signing/Decision Day, celebrated on May 4th & May 15th, marks the exciting moment when high school seniors officially commit to their postsecondary plans—whether college, career training, or beyond—celebrating their next big step after graduation.
With the support of our incredible college advisor, Ms. Gillis, every LSHS senior heading to college has secured at least $8,000 in scholarships and grants—with some earning more than $200,000! We love celebrating our seniors!

The Athletic Department at Lake Shore High School, alongside proud families, coaches, and administrators, recently honored its 10 college-bound student-athletes with an unofficial letter-of-intent signing celebration.

This special event allowed family and friends to witness and share in the excitement as Athletic Coordinator Mr. Bowers interviewed every student-athlete. He asked two key questions: What inspired your decision to attend and compete at your chosen college? and What advice would you give to others?
According to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), only about six percent of high school athletes nationwide go on to compete in any NCAA division. We are proud to recognize 10 outstanding members of the Lake Shore High School Class of 2026 who have reached this remarkable milestone.
